This is one of the only 6 existing original Matra F3 (and one of only 5 still in existence).
The present car was, chassis number 6, was given by Matra to the winner of the "1965 Volant Shell": Claude Vigreux. It has a continuous and documented racing history, a just rebuild original MAE engine (This is the original Pescarolo engine, bought from Matra when they stopped racing in 1968, and it is documented with its original invoice) an Training 1600 Cosworth engine; just bought at Ritchardson; fully matching original training engines specifications
. It is race ready and comes with a lot of spares and a complete and continuous documentation.
Originally delivered as a Formula 3, it can be converted in Formula 2 or Formula 1. It's sister's car, chassis number 4, raced by Johnny Servoz-Gavin, even healded the Monaco Formula 1 GP for 2 laps, then he had a little accident and finally finished 11th.
This car entered 2 times the Monaco F3 GP and is fully eligible for all major historical events. It is an excellent oportunity as the owner of this car bought it for this price in 2005 and spent more than 15,000 euros to purchase the training engine and restore the chassis and the original engine and gearbox. The car will be displayed during Retromobile Classic Car Show in Paris from the 6th to the 15th of February

This is one of the very best Alpine Renault A110 1600 S we have seen. Real original works produces lightweight version, 50 Kg lighter than a standard production car. Former personal car of the famous French Rally racer François Delecour (1993 vice-World Rally Champion). Fully restored for its own purposed. He invested more than 38,000 Euro in a complete restoration, and the basis was already a nice car. It is one of the very few factory manufactured road cars with the lightweight body (Caisse légère).
The car is showing 60,000 original Km, and it has completed 2,000 km since this total restoration. It runs much better than new and nothing needs to be done. It is still registered in François Delecour's name and is available in Paris.
It will be on display during the Paris Retromobile car show (6 to 15th February).
